Catalonia TV System and Social TV

This report is a summary of the first analysis of Social TV in Catalonia TV System carried out by OPA. The research explore a sample of 53 TV Stations (TV3, 8TV and the Local TV Network XAL) to determine the level of integration in Social TV model in its three areas: social networks (presence and daily production), web platforms and mobile applications (possibilities of participation) . Finally, We have developed an original Index of Integration in Social TV (IITS) that measures, as an aggregated average, the position of each TV and the Catalonia TV System as a whole in the Social TV model.
