Dear Editor, Following the publication of our paper entilted: ‘‘Double bundle or single bundle plus extra-articular tenodesis in ACL reconstruction? A CAOS study’’ [1], we would like to point out that the data shown in Fig. 2, first two columns, are the results of our first CAOS study performed in ACL reconstruction and which served as a control group to evaluate the effect of extra-articular tenodesis. This study was submitted to the American Journal of Sports Medicine and accepted. The publication was delayed until January 2008 due to a long reviewing and editing process. As we believe that Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy readers should be interested in knowing all the data of this preliminary investigation performed on the same series
