PHYSICIST'S CONSCIENCE . Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Has an ordinary physicist the right to criticize the "giants of physics"?
Has he the right not to criticize them?
The author submits an absolutely new theory, that represents a revolution in physics. In general knowledge he brings a new view on safety of atomic power stations, other calculations of energy and speed of elementary particles, their radii of force range, other relations for the construction of atomic power stations, the nuclear reactions.
This theory is the product of 25 years of work.
The author remembers the documentary film about the Bikini Island. The naiveté whith which the soldiers, officers, scientists expected the A-bomb explosion, the expressions of grandiosity, the feelings of pride that they were there, the carelessness of the radiation, the swimming after the explosion, and the results putting out of countenance ending with cancer, the immense growth of extremities, their rupture - the consequent amputation of the legs, the high growth of arms, until death, also a certainty of scientists, that nothing could happen (signatures of scientists, the agreement with the production of bombs and their experimental test in presence of a large number of soldiers) - all these facts witness that it was an ignorance of people, of regular soldiers as well as scientists (including A. Einstein), the ignorance originating in a wrong or inconsequent theory, which made a qualitative point to the justice though, but did not give the quantitative point to it as is shown inTable 5 of this work. It clearly shows that the values of total energy calculated by Einstein are substantially lower as those calculated in our theory for all particle velocities, even for the lower ones.
At the speed of 0,1c = v, there are the differences even by 0,0007mc2, which keep on increasing.
For v = 0,5c this difference in the direction of motion is
and for v = 0.99c even
so that in fact the energies in nuclear reactions have been substantially higher than the current theory of A. Einstein assumes.
It results in the incorrect determination of energies even in nuclear reactors and thus in the insufficient protection design, what leads to breakdowns of atom power stations (USA, FRG, UKRAINE, RUSSIA) and risky, often caraless behaviour of highly educated people of former AS of USSR, enormous impacts caused by irradiation of population because of the ignorance of people in high positions and the consequent disinformation of population. To be able to avoid the breakdowns, it is necessary to consider our equation for energy calculation and not the Einstein's one. It involves all activities concerning calculation of energy of particles (accelerators, reactors,...). We will thus help substantially to prevent tragedies of the human race caused by ignorance.

Corrected Third Newton's law of motion :
All movements in physics are based on principle of action - reaction and on velocity of stable particles ( e-, p+,n0, D, He-3, α ).
Action, as a motion of stable charged particles ( e-, p+,n0, D, He-3, α ), is characterized speeds up in source along ellipse or quasi- elipse ( excentricity e –> 0 ).
Action creates unstable particles ( leptons μ , τ , baryons, mesons ), bosons W +, W-, Z (= particles = β electrons moving at nearly the speed of light )in direction of motion of stable particles ( e-, p+,n0, D, He-3, alfa ).
Reaction creates into transmission medium, the electromagnetic waves, as unstable "particles" - neutrínos νe, νμ, ντ , mesons π0, π+ , π- , η , K and gamma rays (=waves of extremely high frequency >1019 Hz ) - against direction of motion of stable particles ( e-, p+,n0, D, He-3, alfa ).
Accompanying activity of reaction on movement of stable particles in the transmission medium are waves, or "unstable particles" respectively , i.e. neutrinos and mesons.

Einstein before his death in 1955, wrote "All the fifty years of conscious brooding have brought me no closer to the answer to the question: what are light quanta? ...........

His equation involves a special curvature called Ricci curvature, which was defined first by mathematicians and was very useful for his work.

There is a very simple "Classical" approach to ground states, "allowed" energy states.

Here we may consider "classical", static and motional phenomena of 19th century physics.

Where any two "charged" particles are in relative motion, a magnetic relationship arises. Any current is attended by a magnetic field. For any imposed electromagnetive force there is a reactive, opposing electromagnetive force, consistent with Newton's consideration of Force.

We know that parallel currents may exhibit magnetic attraction or repulsion dependent upon direction.

Simply, a ground state is a state of order or balance, of stability, between an attractive and a repulsive or reactive force.

We might consider that Einstein's photo-electric effect clearly provides EMR must exceed a transition, an energization threshold, to achieve any action upon atoms and, more so, upon electronic energy states.

Simply, at the Absolute 0 of Temperature, any and all ambient EMR is of deficient frequency to result in anything but perfet reflection, Thompsom scattering, from an atom, an atomic system.

Until ambient EMR offers such high frequencies that it may affect electronic energy states, it may only contribute to atomic degrees of freedom dependent upon states of matter.

Higher frequencies exicte electronic states. Yet far higher frequencies drive ionization and state change from gases to plasmas. Only the greatest frequencies might disturb nucleonic states.

I still say that what you call and electron is actually a shell of captured photons.
This view greatly simplifies the math for an atom and more easily explains the absorption and emission of photons from each atom.

Sorry Lubomir, I just cannot see how a single electron can vibrate to create a periodic EM signature and maintain its orbital mechanics. Any system that complex just does not have a definable process for the creation and maintenance of stable atoms.

Don: Simplifying the math does not, perforce, ensure the comprehension of physical phenomena.

From my comment in another discussion:

So many claim that QM has entirely displaced "Classical Physics" yet, it is still absolutely dependent upon "Classical" mathematical approaches.

Both Newton and Leibniz, the independent and simultaneous creators of the Calculus knew what they had wrought and why. The Calculus is a mathematics of approximation as are Probability and Statistics. At the time, the increasing complexity of the problems of Science grievously taxed the Mathematicians' ability to provide solutions by extant mathematical approaches. Attempt at solutions went from most extremely tedious to intractable.

Simply, approximate, mean solutions were better than no solutions at all. But, these creators clearly and fully understood that discrete solutions could not be had by this approach. Apparently, that understanding has been lost by many over time. Simply, application of the mathematics of approximation can only instill a mathematical uncertainty to any solution.

Calculus is a matter of linear equations. Regardless of how approximation is tightened, it cannot provide discrete solutions and linear equations cannot approach nonlinear phenomena.

The approach to nonlinearity began, at least, with Blaise Pascal. Many eminent contributors to the enhancement of linear mathematics also contributed to he slower advance of nonlinearity.

However, it required the introduction of electronic computers to best pursue and develop this as Chaos Theory. The brute number crunching capacity of these allowed iteration and recursion of simple difference equations.

Well, back in the day, even Calculus had its detractors!

The nonlinear approach provides discrete transition points. Consider such as changes of state and latent heats of state change. Consider energy and voltage in terms of discrete energization thresholds, transition points. Physics and the other Sciences are replete with such "tipping points", discrete thresholds of action. After all, that is exactly the nature of Planck's constant of action.

Quantum Physics is about discrete elements of Nature. The mathematics of approximation allow for the continued insinuation of continuousness in "theory" regarding mass while only pursuing EMR and energy states as quanta, discrete.

The mathematics of approximation are not incorrect but are incomplete in the capacity to fulsomely address physical phenomena. This was it too easy for Mach's metaphysics to be insinuated into the development of 20th century theoretical physics. SR and QM were so "infected".

Planck early warned against Mach's influence. Later in life Einstein bemoaned that he had applied Mach's principle in his development of SR.

Lubomir's Einstein quote was somewhat earlier in life than his remark regarding Mach. Yet, far earlier, at a 1920 lecture on GR, in Leiden, he recanted his SR dismissal of an "Æther" and stated that GR could not work without it!

Einstein and most others who grew up during the late 19th and early 20th centuries were victims of their age. Einstein had, through touch, experienced COMTACT FORCES, and, therefore, had difficulty accepting forces exerted at a distance. So, he needed something like a particle, emitted with momentum, which, in collision, was capable of transmitting momentum to other things that were distant from the emitting source. Thus, he needed PHOTON PARTICLES, but had problems with photon wave behavior. Einstein also believed that the essential nature (the Ding an Sich) of the photon was discoverable.

Today, we know that there are no contacts, at least there are none such as Einstein understood the word contact. Today, we conceive of the contact of macroscopic bodies as electrical interactions between such bodies when they are very close to each other, including their quantum mechanically described chemical interactions. We also understand that physicists don't discover the essential nature of anything. We develop mathematics that are consistent with our experimental observations and, which are useful in engineering, because they are accurately predictive.

So, finally, what is a photon? Photon is a noun that refers to some useful mathematics. We keep this often confusing noun around, because we love nouns and, also, for old times' sake.
