The theme for this question is Westernisation. 2. Write ONE essay of 550-600 words. 3. You are given a prompt which offers TWO questions. Choose ONE question from the prompt. Do NOT write more than one essay. 4. You must PREPARE A THOROUGH plan. 5. Students are to access another 2-3 sources to build a well-researched argument for their essays. These sources are to be acknowledged in the content as in-text referencing and in the Bibliography. This is worth 5 marks. Prompt Westernization is a process in which societies adopt western cultures in areas such as industry, technology, law, politics, economies and lifestyles, clothing, language etc. Today, there are many people who are westernizing themselves among many cultures. Westernization has become common in the world. People want to change themselves because they are not satisfied with the way they are. They also think that being western is superior, and because they have a dominant history. Westernization changes the lifestyles of people and they become like a western person.
