Batangas City as a Desa Kota: A Rising Agro-Industrial Economy

In an attempt to achieve a balance of urbanization and sustainability, this paper is an envisioned development proposal  for Batangas City. In this paper, the history, culture, and economic development and policies of the province are reviewed and analysed to create a potential transition plan for a better urbanized and sustainable Philippine city.
