ABSTRACT

The study integrated and updated the entire bosso estate area with a
comprehensive digital map and creation of data base management system.

Drawings were properly edited using Arcmap 10.1. Graphics were linked with
non-spatial attributes data base. Digital map of bosso estate was produced;
and feature details shown in graphics. Thus, for sustainable development,
Cadastral Information System (CIS) has been made more effective for the
monitoring, evaluation and management of cadastral records.

The incorporation of GIS technology in management of properties in the
study area will also enhance the proper record keeping of the area for
future purposes which could be further used as a tool for developing the
area, as well as, serve as model for controlling future developmental plans
for the area.
