C. Staff And Students:We are the department of 19 dedicated faculties with 3 teaching assistants & 4 technical assistants. There are 61 students with 2013 as their first pass out batch. We, as a department aspire to achieve the departmental goals upholding the institution values.

III. The Year In Review A. Departmental Achievements: 1) Department was honored with Horse Icon for the overall best performance among all the departments of Rungta Group of Colleges.
B. Staff Achievements: 1) Prof. Abhijeet Awasthi, Prof. Vinita Sahu & Prof. Yagwendra Dicsena were awarded for best results of their concerned subjects. 2) Prof. Bhavna Sharma was honored as best emerging faculty.
C. Student Achievements: 1) Seventeen students of the department got placed at different companies in campus recruitment drive and Mary Paulson of 8th sem. got placed in core company Cummins as Assistant Manager. 2) One Student of department got qualified for NDA. 3) Six students bagged prizes at national level cultural event at SSCET,Bhilai. 4) Two students bagged 1st & 2nd prize respectively in speech competition. 5) Three students stood 2nd runner up in group dance intercollegiate competition held at Shahid Smarak Bhavan.
