Dissertação: \"Com a palavra, Cristina Kirchner: Os usos da memória de Eva Perón no Bicentenario argentino\"

In the light of the context of the last decades in Latin America and of the challenges on the reflections proposed by the human sciences in relation to the positions occupied by women in the decision spaces, the present work developed an analysis on the political leadership exercised by Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. This study sought to map the mishaps of the female trajectory to transcend their socially naturalized roles to private space and be recognized as agents in the political scenario. The theoretical and methodological parameters adopted are situated at the tangle of post-structuralist feminist theory in dialogue with history so that through a notion of performativity drawn by Judith Butler, could we analyze the uses of Eva Perón's memory by the former president of Argentina. In this sense, we seek to understand how an institutional design of political leadership became configured in which certain categories of places of memory of Eva Perón and the reiteration of a tradition of political matrimony were mobilized discursively. The articulations of the affections and collective passions in this conjuncture evidenced certain conflicting dimensions per highlighting the representational disputes at stake, that is, the minimum aspects of a democratic scheme for the construction of a debate around “the politics”.
