Drugs: The Escape Paradox
Our research in understanding the cause of cancer has been reasonably successful. However, we lack the deeper "basic" cause.
We have focused on genes to unlock the mystery. That pursuit has been helpful but incomplete. We have avoided emotional fear as a possibility. Our fear is buried, subtle, mostly unconscious but dominating. Our fear is frightening and largely avoided. We understand the "what" of a problem but not the "why" of our fear functioning. Our fear is the basis of our functioning.
Our universal fear is reasonably the cause of cancer as a by-product of an inhibited immune system; we stifle and even avoid openness, flexibility, assertiveness, and success efficacy and potency because of a passive personality and its immune system. We lack security and aggressiveness - courage. There for certain cancers can out aggressive our resolve. Cancer can overwhelm its fearful and passive opponent. We are afraid to assert our independence and potency. We emasculate ourselves. Why do we do that and withdraw? What are we afraid of? What is the most unconsciously "basic" cause of our insecurities - our fears?
Our Universal fear is of the loss of our sexuality / love / security. That most frightening occurrence is from the loss of the unconditional love and insecurity of mother in the terrible twos. That painful separation was the beginning of our fear, its anger, and our insecure. Thereafter we long for the security of mother's unconditional love and security in other female surrogates. After the terrible twos any rejection or criticism is more painful. It stifles us and felt like we were emasculated again as in the terrible twos. We become afraid to trust, love, assert ourselves, or succeed again after the terrible two's emasculation. Periodically we emasculate ourselves from Love and success. Can we tolerate this frightening liberation from our fear of change and success?
This basic understanding is the "basic" cause of cancer in my opinion. Some people contract cancer while others don't. The more fearful and insecure the more vulnerable to attack we are, including cancer. Our immune system is compromised. Our fear and lack of understanding and courage to succeed dictate our immune system. Our bodily functions are a byproduct of our mostly subtle but enthralling thinking and belief. Without this Insight and incorporation we remain our own enemy and its victims.
Drugs smoking, alcohol, and other abuses including procrastination are an attempted escape from a fear of the loss of our sexuality / love / security its love and our insecurities. Procrastination avoids asserting ourselves. It allows other diseases to fester and expand. Security is our primary need. Fear and its stress compromise our effective and successful functioning. Our "basic" fear of the loss of our sexuality / love / security is the basis of our functioning at work, health, and relations - Our Lives - including cancer. Our fear invites cancer and other diseases. If you keep your head in the sand, you can get assaulted from the rear. If you can't stick it out, you can't stick it in. We are negative and defensive in order to avoid this understanding of change and success.
We lack the courage of our aggressiveness and success to attack the aggressive cancer - to help ourselves instead of waiting and wanting government or others to take care of us as did mother in childhood. We remain emotional children. Drugs are a seeming escape from our fear, but a defensive illusion. Our basic fear of the loss of our sexuality / love / security is the basis of our functioning.
