EMENTA

Fundamentação teórica do campo do design. O campo de design em sua constante expansão e diversificação: (1) contextos históricos e a formulação do moderno; a crítica ao moderno. (2) A produção de teoria em design: academia e pesquisa em design. (3) O pragmatismo americano: a aproximação entre design e os negócios. (4) O design frente a mudanças de ciclo econômico.
