Water is the only element that is much more abundant than that of any other element on our planet, earth. It plays a central role in all aspects of life – in the national environment, in our economies, in food security, in production, in politics. The shortage in the supply and access to water has only recently taken significant place in global reflection as a serious and threatening phenomenon. The present study focuses on the water conflict between two atomic power nations – India and Pakistan – arising from monster of water politics. After partition of British India and distribution of its physical resources, all sources of rivers came under the control of India as it was upper riparian territory thus Pakistan became lower riparian state. These both nations had plunged into water conflict immediately after birth of Pakistan. Since that time water conflict became an unsolvable dispute that led both nations towards weak relationships and degraded politics.
