Majlis de Ashura: Territórios de Performance

Resumo: Neste artigo foram analisados aspectos simbólicos e espaciais da celebração islâmica xiita de Ashura a partir de uma discussão geográfica. Procurou-se compreender como o Sagrado se manifesta em seu território para além da temporalidade da celebração. As perspectivas acerca da acepção de território, permitem dentro da Geografia Humana, especificamente da Geografia Cultural, novas possibilidades de expansão quando analisamos uma performance cultural e religiosa de grande expressividade demográfica, adentrando na subjetividade através da Terra Imaginalis. Abstract: In this paper we were analyzed symbolic and spatial aspects of the Shiite Islamic celebration of Ashura from a geographical discussion. He tried to understand how the sacred is manifested in its territory beyond the temporality of celebration. The outlook on the meaning of territory, allow within the Human Geography, specifically Cultural Geography, new possibilities for expansion when we analyze a cultural and religious performance of great demographic expressiveness, entering the subjectivity through the Earth Imaginalis.
