Malmö Climate Proof Malmö is a city which consist out of 3 million people on average and with 6 million people surrounded in the metropolitan area. The city is situated at a strategic location in Northern Europe. , with transportation connections with Denmark and transport connections to a large part of Sweden. Malmö has it own airport which also is connected by a bridge and tunnel with the Denmark airport. In history Malmö was one of the first industrialized cities in Europe , in the industrialized era. The University of Lund is also located nearby , this creates a frequent daily public transport movement. Considering that a large part of the citizens of Malmö is from a various background , therefor Malmö is a multicultural society. This can be challenging , if not addressed properly , but this not have to be so. Malmö has commercial potential in the green environmental domains ,is a transport hub , is a melting pot of cultures ,has it's own port and an Airport , has a direct land connection with Denmark , with a bridge and several ferries connections. Malmö is a harbor city ,that has direct access to salt water ,that can be desalinated for of food ,energy , and water usage purposes. Organic Project Model I'm considering four zones ,with at it's core , a large water supply ,for rain water buffering ,water purification and allocation to the direct vicinity. The second ring consist out of a food forest zone , that will be based on low maintenance input , this can also be combined with organic green houses or a biosphere , if the cold is hindrance for food and crop production. The thirth ring will consist of hydrogen generating energy installations ,with a combination of glassfibre technology that will create a clean energy bubble and vitalize the whole green organic area. The fourth ring will be supplying or supporting the direct surrounding area,with all the basic human needs like water , food ,and energy. Harbour The harbour itself could be transformed , to a multipurpose freezone ,where obstructing legislation is no hindrance to develop new smart and green industries. There could be alternative housing industries and alternative forms of housing ,leisure,socializing zones a marketplace that is also supported by a redeveloped large building that can facilitate large conventions for the city and creates a hyve function in the harbour area and therefor attract a new and diverse variations of companies that ,seek cradle to cradle ways of production and designing. This supports the lifestyle that suit the idea of cradle to cradle ways of living. This will boost a renewed labor activity ,that will also provide the need for education and therefore preparing the present and younger next generation ,for the future ,by providing practical education ,where people can implement this directly to improve their livelihood ,this would be left and right brain education program. This means abstract and drama. This is needed to imagine and practically implement the imagination into work ,to work in the real world. Commercial Areas The need for entertainment ,leisure and socializing with a new commercial center in Malmö this need can be fulfilled ,with this center ,that can be combined with a diverse set of work and education related purposes, this will create a small community that will ,create a new dynamic in those city zones , that can spark and inspire people to be engaged with city policies and daily decision making that is influencing their lives.

Production For production and usage of good and the exhaust gasses that are produced , this have to be totally redesigned ,to decide what did we want and what not and what is already there that can support and what has the be created or attracted. This is based on the cradle to cradle principles , that implies , that before you going to create something ,on forehand you create a production process ,that is already designed for recycling ,so that the product or service is ready for recycling ,so you can also incorporate this in the waste recycling processes that can be improve, so that with the need , you create a total creation – waste recycling – recreation process of raw materials and nutrients, this will be closing the waste and energy cycle ,so Malmö has an continuing flow of their own resources for food ,water and energy ,goods and services , so creating something is not burdensome for the environment , but the improved way of creating and producing is a natural flow of recycling and creation. The whole process of production should be based on biological principles like the cradle to cradle approach promotes. Watermanagement Water needs to be buffered for retention , to create a potable water supply. This will also shapes the possibility to utilize this for dry period when there is less rainfall. All waste water from domestic and industrial areas should be filtered and vitalized ,close to the areas that produces this waste water streams. This can be done by a water nutrient treatment plant , filtering station , a water harmonica and helofyte ponds , that consist out of reeds and water vegetation and flowforms. The last part of the water purification process is a very important process , because water vitalization is neutralizing the memory of water , the memory of water gets loaded with all kind of unwanted influences , that will continue in water , until you get it vitalized ,this affects us because the structure of water is affected in a negative way ,that make water less nutritious and healing for our health and mind. The second effect is that this whole process of vitalization of water and the installation creates a micro climate of there own , this will also create a vibrant biological habitat ,where nature can thrive. This effect also creates areas where people ,animals and plants can integrate , so there is a self creating environmental habitat , only with low input management just to mimic nature in the most natural way. Those water retention areas are surrounded , with a organic food producing second ring, this can be a food forest but also greenhouses or a biosphere if the climate is not suitable for food production during some seasons of the year. The food areas should be designed with the function of maximizing the use of sunlight , water and wind protection, with a ring of trees or other structures. If artificial heating of the greenhouses or biospheres is needed , it can be done by biogas or hydrogen powered energy systems and if necessary combined with solar panels. Energy Decentralized energy generation will be mainly base on hydrogen and biogas powered sources, this kind of systems will provide heat, electricity and gas. With this kind of energy systems, the whole myriad of needs of energy can be provides for domestic and industrial purposes. This energy technologies are not new ,but more efficient in using the natural resources and recycled nutrients, this also implies that the cost of structures and the production of those systems can be less costly then traditional coal and fossil fuel based energy installations. This also can be combined with solar energy and other technologies like glass fiber technologies that optimizes the energy installations and the direct surrounding area ,by creating a clean energy bubble ,that will also neutralizes clean electrosmog and electrostress, caused by all kind of electronic devices ,such as smartphones ,wifi and all kind of electromagnetic radiating communication antennas, that emits the so called “negative” green radiation signal ,that causes disruption

and disease in living tissue ,when humans and animals are exposed to electromagnetic influences of communication devices, in an intensive way. Upscaling Sustainable Energy This Hydrogen and Biogas energy system combination, with overcapacity in mind , for revenue generation , this is possible in every medium or large neighborhood. This all can be combined with other health and environmental friendly technologies. If people prefer ,they can also buy an individual sustainable energy solution to provide energy for their own family. This will literary create an energy web ,that can be monitored ,with sensor and monitoring systems , to guarantee and save guard the processes of the decentralized energy grid. Citizens or local businesses and local government ,or clusters of neighbourhoods or other parts of the city of Malmö can choose to create an sustainable energy installation with overcapacity ,that will generate and energy surplus , which they can support themselves at peak energy demand by energy storage , or they can choose to sell the surplus of energy , to surrounding areas or other parts of the city of Malmö. Energy storage can be done with water tanks or gas installation. Education This whole rethinking of the city concept of Malmö ,calls for a far more advanced ways of implementation of knowledge and experienced or generating of experimental experience and the processing of data ,which will shape and create a sustainable city concept for the city of Malmö ,that is climate proof for the future in a very broad way of understanding. Said in the domains of water ,energy ,food , (micro)nutrients and waste streams recycling. This agile and more sophisticated way of organizing the way of life of the people of Malmö, calls for a new way of education ,the away of direct implementation of knowledge. This can speed up by stimulating local entrepreneurship among the next generation and the present or even the retired generation ,especially since they stay more active after retiring. This can be done by transforming ,the educational system from a theoretic one into a direct practical implementation of the learned knowledge , to instill and boost creativity and agility of the solutions needed ,for creating a sustainable and climate proof ways of life. For this transformation of education , the communities in Malmö can be counseled for feedback on how to transfer the educational system in the best way so that all citizens benefit from this transformation. Health Health services should be focus on prevention and should be promoting living in your own house , if necessary with adjustment if health problems require this. This will prevent a lot social ,mental and work related health care issues. The health care system can be scaled down and the saved budget can be allocated , to start the transformation of the educational system. Tourism Considering the fact that Malmö is strategically situated as a transport hub ,this advantage can be used to promote and attract more tourists that will bring additional revenue to the city and thereby supporting the citizens of Malmö. This can be done by marketing or creating large conventions for the implementation of green and clean technologies for both industries and domestic purposes ,creating workshop or seminars for large groups of niche markets in the green and clean sustainable industries. Entertainment events could be a good opportunity to attract national and international tourism. Also by creating attractive and affordable accommodations in the tourist marketplace where people can stay and spend their time,such as culture, dining,entertainment ,sustainable technologies demonstration sites this I possible because of the sustainable energy generation , all kind of

production cost and services can be of lower cost , because almost all production creation processes ,consist of 80% till 90% of energy cost, this can be seen in all sales prices. Commerce After earlier mentioned transformation in different domains like energy education ,food ,waste, water ,convention industry and tourism and so on ,the effect of this development is that it creates all kind of new venues of revenue creation ,which could be central or decentralized according to local circumstances. The new enterprises will be fueled by the the whole transition process described earlier. Of course there has to be an analysis of the have and have not of the industries requirements of the present situation and also of the strenghts and the pitfalls of this transition of the commercial business and industrial zones of the city of Malmö, to looks what can be refurbished and what can be left out , or have to be created newly to realized this sustainable green and clean transition. This has to be done in a low impact way of approach. So that time and energy can be used efficiently so this will speedup the process of transition of the city of Malmö Conclusion Considering all those complementary and creative processes implemented during the transition of the city of Malmö , this can make Malmö one of the most sustainable and advanced cities of Europe and therefor in the world.
