1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to inform the carrier about handling, transport and stocking of the blades LS 42.1 of the turbines LTW86.

1.2 DOCUMENT CONTENTS This document incorporates all the stages between the stocking of the component after the assembly in the workshop, and the arrival of the component on site: •

Handling: how to handle the main component (methods, handling tools and handling point);

Transport: o

how to position the main component on the means of transport;

o

how to fix the main component on the means of transport;

Stocking: the requirements and precautions for the stocking (methods, stocking tools, handling tools and handling point); During the transport, the component is not completely assembled. The components to be mounted on the building site, BEIPACK, are the follows: •

Internal Beipack: components not assembled and transported to it internally, considered in this specification;

External Beipack: components not assembled and transported to it externally

WX00355.

1.3 DOCUMENT REVISION This document must be updated in the following cases: 1. Modifications of the handling, transport and stocking procedure; 2. Variations of the characteristics (weight, dimension or other), of the component to transport.
