ASSIGNMENT

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES  Students are required to make a group presentation in groups of 3 or 4 for the presentation topic.  Students are advised to apply the concepts and theories that they have learned during the first block and also make recommendations insight of content learned.  Students are required to do the presentation during the block 2; timings will be decided and informed by the lecturer. However, beforehand please be prepared for the presentations.  Presentation duration is 8-10 mins

Refer to your study guide, readings in GEM, OR appropriate textbooks for theoretical information. If using website references please ensure that it is an appropriate academic source and cite the website address as well as date the website was accessed. Type your assignment using “Times New Roman”, font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing on A4 size paper. The report should be uploaded to GEM on or before the due date. Word limit: 2000 words +or-10%will be acceptable. Students may attach any relevant annexes to the report, if they consider it important. Annexes will NOT be counted as part of the word limit requirement.

Introduction to Topic and Organization  An introduction to the topic of the report (you may choose your own title that focuses on the general theme of the assignment)  A background of the organization and specific aspects of the organization that are related to the report topic. Body of the Report (Research, Substance)  Amount and quality of information gained from the organization – through secondary sources or interview.  Adequate analysis of the findings from the organization – a good analytical description of the main issues found in the organization linked to relevant theoretical content. Recommendations  Conclusions and/or recommendations that are related to the content outlined in the report.  Appropriate justification of recommendations through relevant theoretical content. (This can be linked to the body of the report.) Conclusions  Conclusions outlined in the report. (Include a summary of the report )
