My Caramel World
I make my coffee, I create a world.
The water boils hot in my kettle. It makes a loud noise; the big bang.
I pour the hot boiling water into my french press, the boundary walls of the universe; expanding. I wait as it sits; the ground coffee and water combine; matter and energy.
First I pour the coffee, it's black, a dark sky; nothing is there and nothing is alive;
then I pour in the cream, this creates daytime and clouds swirling, dancing, thriving around;
things are becoming alive deep down; finally, I add the sugar,
it's the sand that make up the land and continents that make the planet whole;
life is flourishing and everything is moving; the oceans and clouds dance to the same beat; the tone is set and the need for ingredients in the recipe for life have been met.
My caramel world is complete.
