REVISTA DE ESTUDIOS COLOMBIANOS N°48 La edición 48 (julio-diciembre de 2016) de la REVISTA DE ESTUDIOS COLOMBIANOS estará dedicada al estudio de manifestaciones de las culturas populares en Colombia. Se aceptarán artículos que traten de la teoría y/o la práctica de las culturas populares, así como sobre aspectos de su producción, circulación y/o consumo. Son asimismo bienvenidos los estudios de casos. Entre los posibles temas pueden figurar: arte folclórico y/o popular, bailes y danzas populares, caló, parlache y habla urbana, carnavales, (moto)ciclismo, ciencia ficción, cine, televisión e internet, fanzines y panfletos, festivales, fútbol, funerales, grafiti y murales, (super)héroes y (super)heroínas, historietas, tiras cómicas y novelas gráficas, horóscopos, libros artesanales o artísticos, lucha libre, medicinas, sanaciones y limpiezas tradicionales, medios sociales, mitos, monumentos, músicas y artes populares, narraciones orales, novelas rosa, performance y teatro callejero, religiones, telenovelas, etc. Invitamos contribuciones de diversas perspectivas disciplinarias y acercamientos metodológicos. Issue No. 48 (Jul-Dec 2016) of the REVISTA DE ESTUDIOS COLOMBIANOS will be devoted to the study of manifestations of popular cultures in Colombia. We invite articles approaching the theory and/or practice of popular cultures, as well as their production, circulation, and/or consumption. Among possible topics, we will consider the following: folk and/or popular art, popular dances, parlache, caló, and urban slang, carnivals, bike/motorcycle cultures, sci-fi, film, television, and the internet, fanzines and pamphlets, fútbol (soccer), funerals, graffiti and murals, (super)heroes and (super)heroines, comic strips, comics and graphic novels, horoscopes, craft or art books, wrestling, traditional medicines, healings, and purifications, social media, myths, monuments, popular music and arts, oral narration, romance novels, performance and street art, religions, telenovelas. We invite contributions from diverse disciplinary perspectives and methodological approaches.
