Template User Guide

1. You can use the provided FBX in your 3D work environment or just use the ‘ZSOLNAY_GUIDE_FRAME_POV_cam.png’ as your template. The final render should match the guide frame exactly. In 3D you should render the ‘POV_3840x3140’ camera (see details below) 2. In order to match the 3D render image to ‘ZSOLNAY_GUIDE_FRAME_POV_cam.png’ You will have to do one of the following things:  using 3ds MAX: all you need to do is apply a ‘SKEW’ modifier on the camera and use these values: o Amount: 0,63m (SYSTEM UNIT SETUP: INCH, DISPLAY SETUP: METRIC) o Direction: 90,0 o Skew Axis: z  using anything else: unfortunately we can’t provide a guide or solutions for any other software so You will have to match the camera output using Your own custom setup in your working environment. Here are all the parameters available to help you doing so. If your software lacks the ‘lens shift’ effect than try rendering a ‘double-height frame’ that you crop and align… o position of the POV camera is marked by a DUMMY called ‘point_helper_POV_CAM’ o 3ds Max lens: 34,578 with a 55 deg. HORIZONTAL FOV o camera is looking straight forward, no rotation. 3. Final render setup:  Resolution: 3840x3140 px  Pixel ratio: square  Fps: 30  Format: QuickTime Mov  Codec: DXV 3.0, normal quality, no alpha, quality: 90%  Audio: uncompressed 24bit/48kHz 4. Please note that while the projectors will cover the whole surface -as seen on the guide framethe place is going to be crowded and the bottom part (01_BASE group) will probably be shadowed by the viewers and we might even mask it on location. 5.
